Interestingly, while the Pope is visiting Washington DC and New York City, the Dalai Lama has packed the University of Michigan's Crisler Arena with Buddhists and other open minded advocates of compassion.

Of course, Ann Arbor is not America, merely an isolated island of learning and liberal tolerance.

It is also more than clear he said, "There will be more wars," while showing no trace of a negative connotation of such a prospect.

And it is also more than clear that this man will continue down Bush's path of American self-destruction.

Republicans BOAST about dismantling government and selling off the pieces to their crony capitalist friends. They are succeeding beyond expectations at funneling our tax dollars into GOP pockets.

The result is the destruction of our government's ability to regulate business and maintain the rule of law to restrain the corporate criminals.

If it walks like a war monger and quaks like a war monger then by golly it's a war monger.

McCain seeks glory in war to satisfy and prove himself to his ancestors.

He constantly blurs the line between Sunni, Shia, Al Qaeda, and just who Iran is supporting. He plays the dumb confused old man but I think he is purposely trying to conflate Iran with Al Qaeda because it supports his agenda of bombing Iran...which makes him, you guessed it, a war monger.

BTW, McCain and Al Qaeda agree, Iran is bad news. Al Qaeda wants the U.S. to bomb Iran. I wonder if McCain realizes he is doing Al Qaeda's bidding..

Dave my opinion is that, when McCain was broken under torture in Vietnam and traded information for preferential treatment, it did something to his head. I'm not faulting him for breaking. Many did. I can't say that I wouldn't break under torture. But I think that the guilt remaining from that experience is not only behind his well documented emotional instability, but also behind his tendency to overcompensate for his own past failings by choosing the most aggressive response, namely war. Does that make a warmonger? I can't say, but clearly McBoomBoom is too unstable to be trusted with armies and nukes.
