Dave, both of these incidents are a threat assessor's worst nightmare. Because they point out the inherent dangers in a mostly free society. We don't control or check people as they move about the US in their cars. Sure, we "check" ID, but people for years have resisted a formal, federal tamper proof ID, like a passport, for every US citizen.

They all qualify as textbook cases of the Dunning Kruger Effect, authoritarian fascists, and projection. We've seen their ilk in Nazi Germany. I shudder to think how many of these ignorant, duped, hateful cultists would kill their fellow Americans if Trump told them to do so.
We'll soon find out, if Trump sends the military to round up undocumented immigrants. After he builds concentration camps to hold them, his thugs WILL abuse the detainees. Innocent people will always be hurt in any such massive police state action.
