MAGA Racism

This is the face of evil, promoting American white nationalism.

Remember when Trump and Giuliani spewed their racist lies about the black women election workers committing fraud in Georgia? They were harassed at their homes and their lives were threatened by Trumpists. This is what life under fascism is like, and this happened in our country.

Trump is a fascist.

Cowardly punching down on innocent and vulnerable black women reveals the core of this man's sociopathy. It's long past time for this evil racist to face justice. We the voters are the jury this time, but the outcome is  absurdly uncertain. Tragically millions of Americans are too racist, ignorant, gullible or duped into voting for the fascist.

Lest anyone think I'm being irrational or extreme in calling Trump a fascist, I refer to the experienced perspective of Trump's own chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. He told Bob Woodward: “I had suspicions when I talked to you about his mental decline and so forth, but now I realize he’s a total fascist. He is now the most dangerous person to this country. A fascist to the core.”

(Update: later on October 12.)

Trump:

From the very beginning of this journey, I have been on a mission to rescue our nation from a failed and corrupt political establishment.

I will NEVER QUIT, I will NEVER BEND, I will NEVER BREAK, and I will NEVER YIELD, not even in the face of death itself!

Historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat:

Spoken like a fascist. Did you know that Trump borrowed his "drain the swamp" slogan from...Mussolini? Read “Strongmen” for details.

Il Duce said he would free his people from Marxist "vermin" and end corruption. How did that work out?

Trump is certainly fuming, and raving his egomaniacal version of "Mein Kampf" these days.

As I was saying.

Like all fascists Trump and Rudy are bullies.

Sometimes their victims will defend themselves by seeking justice.

In December of 2023, a jury awarded Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss just over $148M in compensatory and punitive damages from Rudy Giuliani.

They’ll be lucky to collect a dime from that nasty racist weasel.

CNN reports: “Freeman and Moss are simultaneously still fighting Giuliani in court to collect on the roughly $150 million he owes them, after they won their defamation case against him before a jury.

Giuliani has paid none of the debt, and lawyers for Freeman and Moss are before a separate judge now trying to seize his two multimillion-dollar apartments, multiple New York Yankees World Series rings, and his large collection of luxury watches, which include two given to him after Sept. 11, 2001, by European heads of state.

Freeman, Moss and Giuliani have a major hearing on the debt-collection efforts scheduled for next week in federal court in New York.”

The ladies also took the radical Right propaganda outlet Gateway Pundit to court. It played a significant role in spreading false information about the 2020 election. The defamatory articles have been pulled down.

The Guardian reports: “After the 2020 election, the Gateway Pundit published a series of stories amplifying a misleading video that showed Freeman and Moss counting ballots. The site pushed the false claim that the two women were committing fraud and counting illegal ballots after counting had ended for the night. The Gateway Pundit was the first news outlet to identify Freeman and later identified Moss, who have been cleared of all wrongdoing. Even after Georgia election officials debunked the video, the site continued to publish numerous articles falsely accusing Moss and Freeman of fraud.”

Today the Gateway Pundit posted this statement on its website:

Note from the Editor: Legal Update

Oct. 12, 2024

Georgia officials concluded that there was no widespread voter fraud by election workers who counted ballots at the State Farm Arena in November 2020. The results of this investigation indicate that Ruby Freeman and Wandrea ‘Shaye’ Moss did not engage in ballot fraud or criminal misconduct while working at State Farm Arena on election night. A legal matter with this news organization and the two election workers has been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties through a fair and reasonable settlement.

It is to our nation's most profound dishonor that the racist perpetrators of this "high tech lynching of uppity Black women" are close to gaining power again in the White House. They have no shame, no honor, no decency and no conscience, but every decent American feels ashamed for our country.

VOTE to keep these domestic enemies of our republic from destroying truth, justice, and our democracy.

WE HAVE TO STOP THESE RACIST MONSTERS!

The pantry had a sign on the door which read, “The resources found in here are intended for Black & Indigenous Folx. Please refrain from taking anything if you’re not.”

Anonymous,
Your comment has nothing to do with the topic of Trump cowardly punching down on Black women with LIES that resulted in death threats.

I'll take it that you can't see anything wrong with what Trump did.

Are you saying some white people finally experienced what black people have ALWAYS been dealing with?

Once again, we are facing a slow-moving Democrat insurrection to abolish the U.S. Constitution, Electoral College, and Supreme Court and to overthrow the government of the United States.
The Counting of Votes: The electoral votes from each state are read aloud, and the total is tallied. If a candidate receives a majority of the votes (at least 270 out of 538), they are declared the winner.

The Disputes, the observations, and the and Challenges: Members of Congress can raise objections to the electoral votes. If objections are made, the House and Senate will separate to debate and vote on them, which can lead to contentious discussions.
This is the “challenge and debate” step that Democrats feared in January 2021. With a credible challenge to state certifications and the seating of alternate electors due to cognizable voting irregularities and discrepancies that demanded challenge and debate, it appears that the intervening Capitol riot and the discovery of nearby bombs thwarted challenge and debate, and the process was short-circuited to completion. Using Occam’s Razor about the simplest of explanations, one can question whether or not the riot was aided and abetted by the Democratic Party and their Deep State/Establishment cohorts. No successful Court challenges were initiated because they were judged to be time-barred, the parties lacked standing, the venue was incorrect, and there was “no judicial remedy” to be had under the Constitution..
Once again we can see the democrats already trying their best to over win the election by any means possible. They are no longer an Honest, Party but an obstruction to Democracy.

Victor and IMHO, (Same person again?)

It's not surprising that you have to IGNORE everything I wrote and DEFLECT from your Fuhrer's evil racist cruelty.

I don't think you know the meaning of delusional. It means holding beliefs that are not supported by fact or evidence, like "Massive fraud" and "stolen election".

Example: "Democrat insurrection to abolish the U.S. Constitution, Electoral College, and Supreme Court and to overthrow the government of the United States" is entirely delusional. There is no verifiable evidence to support this nonsensical paranoia.

You delusional BELIEF is Trump won, despite Biden winning BOTH the popular and electoral votes. Cry and lie all you want, but you can't change reality.

This is called projection: "Democrats already trying their best to over win the election by any means possible."

In reality Republicans are purging rolls that include eligible voters, making it more difficult to vote, limiting registration, and installing Trump's election deniers into positions that enable them to obstruct and deny local counts.

Trump's court challenges were summarily dismissed because Rudy and other toadies refused to swear under oath that their claims were verifiable.

But thank you for showing us once again you are a hateful fascist cult who worships the word of Trump as gospel and willfully ignores his lies and evil attacks on our citizens doing honest election work.

You really keep proving you have no shame, no conscience, no decency, no honesty, and no honor.

I read a great piece in The Atlantic by Tom Nichols about George Washington and how he voluntarily gave up power, and this is part stays with me:

"Forty-four men have succeeded Washington so far. Some became titans; others finished their terms without distinction; a few ended their service to the nation in ignominy. But each of them knew that the day would come when it would be their duty and honor to return the presidency to the people.

All but one, that is.

Donald Trump and his authoritarian political movement represent an existential threat to every ideal that Washington cherished and encouraged in his new nation. They are the incarnation of Washington’s misgivings about populism, partisanship, and the “spirit of revenge” that Washington lamented as the animating force of party politics. Washington feared that, amid constant political warfare, some citizens would come to “seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual,” and that eventually a demagogue would exploit that sentiment.

Today, America stands at such a moment. A vengeful and emotionally unstable former president—a convicted felon, an insurrectionist, an admirer of foreign dictators, a racist and a misogynist—desires to return to office as an autocrat. Trump has left no doubt about his intentions; he practically shouts them every chance he gets. His deepest motives are to salve his ego, punish his enemies, and place himself above the law. Should he regain the Oval Office, he may well bring with him the experience and the means to complete the authoritarian project that he began in his first term."

I'm guessing people like "Victor" and "IMHO" know very little about Washington and why the difference between him and Trump is so significant these days.

Shaw,
Thanks. I saw that article.

Trumpists know very little history but think they are informed patriots. They know little about what is happening because they get everything they think they know from pro-Trump media and sycophantic propagandists.

Just like they pay no attention to the teachings of Jesus and call themselves Christians.

They really are classic examples of the Dunning Kruger effect.
