Four right-wing extremist groups, including the Proud Boys, have been placed on Canada’s list of terrorist organizations amid an apparent crackdown on far-right violence.
The Proud Boys, Atomwaffen Division, the Base and Russian Imperial Movement were among 13 additions to the list announced by the federal government on Wednesday.
Innocent people are being killed in Ukraine and all you can do is call some elected official names. If you did not have something negative to say you would have nothing to say at all.

I will say I think AOC is very attractive and the Right goes crazy over her when she is mentioned in any article in Conservative sites.

It amuses me to mock the radical Right hatred that burns in their angry hearts. None are more deserving of mockery than these neo-fascists.
The problem is this person exemplifies the radicalization of millions of Americans' political indoctrination. These nuts are agitating for a second civil war, and their heads are full of venomous bullshit.
Yes, the Squad can be out in La la land sometimes, but they're not attending white nationalist rallies and spewing dozens more lies about fellow Americans, while still hoisting Trump's Big Lie.
Ukraine's nascent democracy, or even corrupt democracy as is ours, is under violent attack by a nationalistic Russian criminal dictator.
The same has been ongoing here. Our shell of a democracy is under attack by Putin's #1 fan and his completely corrupted party.
I have no doubt Putin told Trump in one of their secret meetings to never concede if he lost an election.
It was a master mobster level play. Trump and his minions are shredding our democracy FOR Putin.
Putin pulled the same trick in Britain in 2016 with Brexit.
That was also the year the Trumpists changed the GOP platform to cutting aid to Ukraine.
Putin has been at war with the West for years, the US didn't notice, and he is winning.

Ok. Deep breath. I think we may look back on this as the first Great Information War. Except we're already 8 years in. The first Great Information War began in 2014. The invasion of Ukraine is the latest front. And the idea it doesn't already involve us is fiction, a lie.
It was Putin's fury at the removal of President Yankovych in Feb 2014 that kicked everything off. Information operations were first crucial step in invasion of Crimea & Donbass. A deliberate attempt to warp reality to confuse both Ukrainians & the world.
This was not new. The Soviets had practiced "dezinformatsiya" for years. But what was new in 2014 was technology. Social media. It was a transformative moment. "Hybrid warfare" on steroids: a golden Willy Wonka ticket to manipulate hearts & minds. Almost completely invisibly.
But it wasn't just Ukraine. We now know Russia began another offensive in Feb 2014. Against the West. Specifically, but not exclusively, America. How do we know this? Because the FBI conducted a forensic, multi-year investigation. That almost no-one paid any attention to.
The Mueller Report. You've heard of it. But probably as a headline about how it didn't "prove" collusion between the Kremlin & Trump campaign. We can come back to that. What it did prove - BEYOND ANY DOUBT - was that Russia attacked 2016 US election through multiple routes.
And just *one* of the ways Russia attacked 2016 US election was via the tech platforms. Especially: Facebook. This was a military technique, it pioneered in Ukraine in 2014. By 2016, it refined, iterated & supersized these. Most brilliantly of all, they were entirely invisible
And it wasn't just Russia. Companies such as Cambridge Analytica. Political operatives such as Manafort. Amoral opportunists such as Cummings. They learned how to exploit a platform that was totally open - anyone could do so. And totally closed - no-one could see how.
But also it *was* Russia. That's what the Mueller Report proves. And, again, Ukraine is at centre of it all.

Are there still people out there who think the alarm over GOP-Russia ties in 2016 was cooked up by HRC? It was always about Ukraine. Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and Konstantin Kilimnik (Russian intelligence agent) took Trump a plan for Russia taking Eastern Ukraine.
Former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych played a central role in it and apparently wanted to be elected head of an independent republic in eastern Donbas. Felix Sater and Michael Cohen took their own plan to Trump for Russia controlling Ukraine.
Check out every major player around Trump. Tom Barrack went way back with Manafort because the biggest client of his Colony Capital for years was pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov. Erik Prince had extensive dealings in Ukraine.
Frank Mermoud, the intermediary between the corrupt Ukrainian politicians and Manafort, was in business with Arron Banks. Banks & co supported Brexit, which was desired by Putin as a means of weakening NATO. Cambridge Analytica worked for that campaign as well as Trump's.
And they are thought to have been financed, before Mercer, by pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Dmitri Firtash (see connections to Lev Parnas, Igor Fruman, their lawyers, Michael Cohen's lawyer Lanny Davis etc). IT WAS ALWAYS ALL ABOUT RUSSIAN POWER AND UKRAINE.
Dave, as usual we see things from different perspectives. If the U.S. did not interfere in Ukraine, if Obama and Trump did not ship 4 Billions in weapons into Ukraine starting 8 years ago with the express purpose of starting a proxy war with Russia this war would not be happening.
Putin made a big mistake falling into the trap set up for him by NATO and the U.S. but he did warn the West for years that this would happen.
There is a lot of propaganda out there, time will tell what is really happening. For instance those 13 soldiers on the island surrendered and are all alive, the Russians did not kill them.
No way did Russia bomb a nuclear plant, silly nonsense.
The world will change from these events in ways we cannot see yet. The U.S. made a huge mistake not giving Putin what he wanted and the Russians and Ukrainians are paying the price.
They are both victims of the U.S.

I never take isolated reports during wartime as the entire story. Misinformation, propaganda and the fog of war means we have to be skeptical.
There is one overriding and undeniable fact. At this point Ukraine is the direct victim of Russian aggression.
Putin is literally destroying Ukraine. It's unfortunate your sympathies still lie with him. He's NOT the victim here.
What evidence do you have that Obama and Trump wanted Ukraine to start a proxy war with Russia? Wanting Ukraine in the the sphere of Western influence is one thing, but your conclusion is a stretch.
We have Putin's own words about wanting Ukraine absorbed into Russia. Putin alone began this bloody war of aggression. Not Obama, not Trump, and NOT Ukraine. I think you've been absorbing Russian propaganda. THEY do that too, you know.
He's a belligerent nationalist, and a blood-soaked dictator, by every definition and action.
Why should the US give Putin what he wants, when he wants the entire Soviet Union restored? Ukraine does NOT want to be under Putin's rule.
And why don't the Ukrainians get to have their voices heard? You seem to ignore their wishes in order to absolve Putin of his war crimes.
Isn't it obvious by now they DON'T want to join Russia?
